Orwell Mencap Genesis is one of the leading charities in Suffolk supporting children and adults with learning and / or physical disabilities through our day centre, social enterprise, domiciliary and children clubs services.

We are looking for relief support workers to help us support our holiday clubs for children and young people across Ipswich. There will also be opportunities to support our daytime and domiciliary services for adults.

Support workers must be patient and versatile and be prepared to participate in all activities chosen by our customers. When necessary they will also be required to provide dignified, personal care and to support our customers using wheelchairs.

Full training will be provided to assist staff to carry out the role efficiently and effectively.

Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS (CRB) check.
