Accountabilities:
· Manage the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring standards of care and schedule of visits to clients are maintained, in line with CQC standards.
· Ensure accurate, concise, timely records of care given and other administrative documents relating to the provision of care and support.
· Lead and develop your Team Leaders & Business Support
· Contribute to new staff inductions, providing support alongside Team Leaders.
· Work closely with HR to manage conduct and capability issues
· Ensure effective management of care packages including referrals through to assessments, quality assurance monitoring, ongoing review and termination of care packages.
· Understand responsibilities in relation to providing care and support, adhering to all relevant legislation
· Ensure the safeguarding of all people we support through adherence to relevant legislation, procedures and codes of practice.
· Active participation in training to ensure personal development and continual professional development.
· Ensure employees are enrolled on relevant training courses and this is kept up to date.
· To develop and maintain effective relationships with external agencies.
· Take responsibility for identifying and resolving non-compliance.
· Manage the financial viability of the service.
· Provide out-of-hours emergency assistance by participating in the on-call rota.
· Oversee the implementation of strategies and approaches that are appropriate and effective for the customers within the service

What you need:
We are looking for someone with a track record of management experience at a senior level
Proven effective leadership skills and experience, or formal qualification in leadership
You’ll have earned your RQF Level 5 Award in Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
Good practical knowledge of relevant human resource, health and safety and social care legislation
Have effective communication and interpersonal skills
Have presentation, analysis and report-writing skills
Be IT literate
Proven experience in delivering results and effective decision making
Ability to travel to different locations within the service (Suffolk)
Be approachable, dedicated and hardworking
