Children and Young People Support Workers – £9.00ph plus pension and benefits

Annualised hours contract available for 78 days per year with majority of these hours worked during school holiday periods.

We are looking for support workers to help us support our holiday clubs for children and young people across Ipswich, as well as our Saturday club.

Our support workers must be patient and versatile and be willing to support our customers in all their chosen activities. This could be any number of things from art, to cooking, to drumming or merely socialising with their friends at the clubs. When necessary, they will also be required to provide dignified personal care and to support our customers using wheelchairs.

We believe that life skills are a sound foundation for this role but fully paid training will be provided to assist staff to carry out the role efficiently and effectively.
