About the Role

Belstead Villa, a transitional service for individuals aged between 18-25 years, consists of four self-contained studio flats and is adjacent to the service at Belstead Mews for 13-18 year olds. Suitable for young people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs, both services focus on providing a progressive service to support individuals through the transition from childhood to adulthood.

Belstead Villa supports individuals to prepare for moving to adult services; teaching individuals how to live independently, developing life skills and using transport more independently. Individuals are supported in managing their own living environment within their self-contained studio flat.

You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out. Develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties. Providing help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend and night shifts.

If you enjoy working as part of a team, are patient and caring with a positive attitude and are looking to join a growing organisation with great benefits, we would love to hear from you. You may be new to care or already have experience in the sector as a Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Giver. We also recruit for attitude and personality so, if you don’t have all the right skills, we can provide a full induction, relevant training and the support you need to get the most from your role.
