Domestic Assistant – Part Time Montague Road Home, Felixstowe

£10.52 per hour, 30 hour per week – Various shifts including weekends, enhanced overtime hours, available for cover

Montague Road provides personalised care and support to 24 people with mental health needs and/or dementia. Rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, Montague Road Home is also very proud to have an award in the Suffolk Care Awards ‘Excellent Support Services’ category. We have a new opportunity for a dedicated, kind and patient Domestic Assistant to provide a high quality, personalised, domestic service to our residents meeting their requirements and ensuring a safe environment is maintained. We provide a comprehensive induction programme as well as on-going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression. The Role –

Providing a personalised cleaning service to customers, fulfilling housekeeping and domestic tasks to meet with customer needs – Ensuring a clean, comfortable and safe environment is maintained in the communal and service areas – Having responsibility for the daily use of housekeeping equipment -Monitoring of stock levels and reordering of supplies

 

Skills & Experience –

Experience of undertaking general housekeeping or domestic duties would be desirable, but not essential Experience in understanding verbal and written instructions and undertaking requested duties An approachable, caring and compassionate attitude is essential Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude The ability to demonstrate a competent level of numeracy and literacy NVQ2 in Hospitality and Catering, or willing to work towards
