The Grange Residential Home are seeking some incredible people to join our team who have a passion for supporting individuals with a learning disability.
We are looking for highly motivated and compassionate applicants who are passionate about supporting people living in a group setting and who will provide high quality support for adults with varying learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues and/or behaviours that challenge, as well as limiting physical conditions.
The role will involve working in a Person Centred Way at all times and will include personal care, meal preparation, supporting with medication and healthcare appointments . Whilst recognising and celebrating the skills that enable the person to do what they can do for themselves you will support them where they can to develop new skills to live the life they choose.
You will help facilitate a positive culture within the home, creating and establishing constructive relationships.
Maintain dignity and respect at all times.
Engage in and organise recreational activities that enhance the lives of those we care for.
Encourage and support community engagement.
Help residents and colleagues to have the best day possible.
To work with us you need to be reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking, our residents rely on you being here to support them for the day. You need to be a team player and have a passion for care and support.
The Grange is staffed 24/7.
Vacancies for Full Time or Part Time
Shift Pattern 7 -3 3-10 including weekends.
Rates of pay £10.00 p/h £12.00 p/h weekends. Sleep In duty £87.20 per night. Bank holiday Enhanced rate.
5 weeks annual leave including Bank Holidays
Experience is not essential as Full Training and support will be provided.
The Kick Start for Care scheme provides a £750 bonus for new starters into a CQC Registered Provider in Suffolk, so this is a great incentive for those looking to move into the Social Care Sector.
