Homecare Worker – Evenings

We provide quality care and support to our elderly and disabled clients who live in their own homes in Ipswich. We are looking to recruit people with good social and communication skills, a can-do approach and who are compassionate and dedicated.

We are currently seeking an additional evening worker, to start at either 4pm or 6pm to 10.30pm. Days of the week to be arranged.

This role entails work that is varied and involves supporting our clients with daily living activities such as personal care, assistance with medication and support with food and drink.
We also help with shopping and light housework and provide companionship and a listening ear.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given.

Our current rate of pay is £9.20 -£12.00 plus travel time and mileage.

Applicants must have good communication and observational skills, good interpersonal skills and a can-do approach. It is important that they can multi-task, be reflective in their practice and be resilient.

You must have driving licence and have access to your own car as you will do a short call in one house then move on to the next.
