Become a Bank Support Worker

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.

We are looking for an imaginative and enthusiastic person to join our bank team supporting 5 Males in Harkstead. You will be working within their home, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. We are looking for people who enjoy getting out into the wider community but are equally ready to get stuck into activities back at home too.

The people we support enjoy car rides, exploring the local car boots, the cinema and the odd game of football. If you share these interests, we want to hear from you!

This is a Bank role with shifts available across the week, including some weekends.

An essential part of this role is being a driver and having access to your own vehicle due to its rural location.

So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence

Why join us?
What will we do?

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Bank Support Worker and we will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS.

What will you do?

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all car boots and football. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way that they feel safe, well and happy.

It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with change… But when you support someone to try something new – what a feeling!

If you want to empower people to live the life they choose and you share our values… Apply to become a Bank Support Worker today.
