Suffolk Mind is a registered charity promoting mental health and well-being services throughout Suffolk and we want to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated night care worker to work within our friendly residential home – Montrose House, located in north east Ipswich.
We provide 24 hour care and support tailored to the needs of the individual.

 

Hours
28.2 hours per week
Fixed nights Monday, Saturday, Sunday, 21.45 PM – 07.45 AM
(Plus the option to cover extra shifts -to cover sickness/holiday)

Salary
From £8.91 per hour – £9.61 per hour
(FTE £17,143 – £18,500 per annum pro rata plus 20% enhancement)

 

Key requirements:

Previous experience in a caring role
Hold or be willing to work towards at least a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification
Good communicator
Flexible team player
Able to work night shifts and occasional day shifts for training and continuous professional development
