We’re looking for reliable, caring, compassionate Support Workers to work in a rewarding role to provide outstanding support and care to our residents at Park House, Felixstowe.

 

More about the role:
You will be required to cover day and waking-night shifts and be available to work weekends and bank holidays. Your role as a Support Worker is an opportunity to deliver person-centred care and support to 5 adults with a mental health diagnosis living at Park House, enabling them to become more independent by providing a range of support:
• shopping, meal preparation and cooking
• light domestic duties
• support with medication and finances

As one of our Support Workers you will be able to make a positive difference to people’s lives every day.

 

About you:
You will need to be committed, honest, trustworthy, reliable, respectful and sensible. In addition, we need you to be pro-active and have a flexible approach to your work. As a support worker, you will face many challenges. In combination with your personal qualities described above and alongside our training and support, you will have all the tools you need to manage every situation.

Pay & Benefits
• £10.50 – £12.50 per hour
• Up to £200 Refer a Friend bonus
• Enhanced pay for cover shifts
• Ongoing training and support
• Care Certificate qualification
• 4-week rolling rota so you will know in advance when you’ll be working
